The Content Associate is a valued member of the Corporate Marketing and Communications team.
This role features a mix of editorial tasks, including generating thought leadership content through ideation, writing, editing and storytelling.
What You’ll Do
As a Content Associate, you will pitch, write and edit thought leadership pieces in close collaboration with subject matter experts.
You will also manage a portfolio including expert profiles, monthly newsletters, brochures, service offering and industry sector pages and careers content.
Your tasks will include:
- Collaborating with the Corporate Marketing and Communications team to pitch timely insights that provide value to multiple FTI Consulting audiences with a variety of expertise areas
- Working with segment and regional teams to discuss, draft, proofread and edit thought leadership content on a regular basis
- Assisting in the preparation of content for outbound marketing campaigns, including articles, blog posts, social media, newsletters, video and podcasts
- Contributing to content and editorial team meetings and propose compelling thought-leadership ideas
- Assisting in copywriting for the corporate website
- Playing a key role in writing and editing content for firmwide reports, major global initiatives and programming, ensuring content is aligned with brand guidelines
- Write case studies and client success stories for internal and external use
- Supporting the preparation of written materials and presentations for internal events as needed
- Ensuring the highest editorial standards are maintained consistently across all marketing and thought leadership content
- Enforcing the global editorial style guide to ensure brand consistency
- Reviewing and editing internal and external communications as needed
- Taking on additional responsibilities and projects as required
Basic Qualifications
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or English
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; FTI Consulting will not sponsor applications for work visas.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years’ of post-graduate professional experience performing relevant content or editorial work
- Proficiency in Associated Press style
- Experience monitoring and implementing workflow processes
- Some project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders with different points of view and expertise areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook
