Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data and insights to inform content development and to identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content; using this research to recommend new topics.
  • Writing clear marketing copy to promote our services, submitting work to SMEs for input and approval.
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, project managers, operations, partner engagement, sales, finance, etc.)
  • Collaborate with external agencies, designers, producers, etc.
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
  • Update website content as needed
  • Create and maintain internal site content for organization, content, accuracy, and brand.
  • Prepare strategic communication plan for company and manage internal communications output.
  • Work with leadership to publish timely company information, such as memos and company directives.
  • Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision.
  • Measure and present results of communication efforts; adjusting communication plan as needed.
  • Suggest what information should be presented to employees.
  • Refine core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education.
  • Ensure workers are engaged in company initiatives.
  • Coaching colleagues in strategic approach to communication planning and execution
  • Edit, design, and print internal publications
  • Drafts speeches and schedules interviews.
  • Builds relationships with industry journalists, media, publications, etc.
  • Prepares and edits organizational materials, including employee newsletters and other publications for internal and external audiences.
  • Updates and maintains organization’s digital content.
