As the Web Content Manager for our esteemed Lerner Research Institute at Cleveland Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in spotlighting the exceptional contributions of our dedicated healthcare professionals.

With over 240 basic and translational labs tirelessly working to uncover solutions for healthcare’s most intricate challenges, the Communications team is the driving force behind promoting Cleveland Clinic’s “researching for health” mission. Your core responsibilities will revolve around:

  1. Web and Intranet Management: You will be entrusted with the management of the web and intranet platforms for Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute, ensuring that our digital presence effectively communicates our groundbreaking work.

  2. Content Creation: You will take the lead in creating, developing, implementing, and managing both internal and external content, showcasing the invaluable work conducted within our institute.

This is a hybrid position that requires working from Cleveland Clinic’s main campus 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and manages online content.
  • Uses knowledge of web best practices, trends and standards to lead web strategy.
  • Uses SEO/SEM principles and tools to optimize content and measure and report performance.
  • Works closely with Lerner Research Institute web developers.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to enhance content and user experience.
  • Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
  • Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
  • Demonstrated team, leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of best practices, trends and standards in web design, SEO/SEM, UI/UX, information architecture and accessibility.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), content management systems, design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Basic knowledge/understanding of HTML, CSS, a plus.
  • Three to five years experience managing content and product for websites.
  • Education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Graphic Design, Communications, English, Journalism, or Healthcare Administration.

Work Experience:

  • Three years of experience in systems training, project management.
  • Data analysis in healthcare setting preferred.
  • Offset: Associate’s degree and five years of experience.
  • Offset: Master’s degree and two years of experience.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
