Caring is seeking a Content Manager to support our editorial and content marketing strategy. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Creative, the Content Manager will be responsible for optimizing content across our portfolio of sites, with a focus on Caring.com.

Responsibilities include planning, writing, and editing content, copywriting, and project management. This position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As a Content Manager, you will:

  • Plan, write and edit content for publishing
  • Contribute to content strategy and content marketing efforts across a variety of channels
  • Manage projects written by freelancers and other agencies, including QA, editing, and content uploading
  • Test, iterate, and improve on ad copy, landing pages, and other marketing collateral
  • Leverage AI and other tools to drive content efficiencies
  • Use data-driven insights to improve content performance
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to share learnings and best practices

Our Ideal Content Manager will have:

  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of professional experience
  • If experienced, relevant experience should include digital journalism, copywriting, and/or project management skills
  • Attention to detail and an analytical approach with data-driven content solutions in mind
  • Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to identify and act on the most impactful opportunities
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Comfort with the entire Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs Suite
  • High level of autonomy and self-motivation, with the ability to take real ownership of strategy and tactics

  • Salary Band: $75,000-$90,000 (DOE)
