The Minot Hot Tots are seeking a Content Marketing Manager in Minot, North Dakota. The team is looking for a passionate, talented, and positive individual who can lead, support, and grow their content marketing efforts across various departments, including tickets, sponsorships, merchandise, and fan experience. Position Overview:

As the Content Marketing Manager, you will lead the content strategy and manage content publishing platforms across the website, social media, and other marketing channels. You will collaborate closely with internal departments to create marketing plans, develop storytelling content, and enhance the team’s brand.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and organize marketing and advertising campaigns in collaboration with internal departments such as tickets, partnerships, merchandise, events, and operations.
  • Measure and analyze analytics for content and marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and URL trackers.
  • Manage all media and marketing inventory.
  • Oversee and maintain the team’s website, newsletter database, social media platforms, and mobile app.
  • Publish content daily on team platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and more.
  • Create engaging content that resonates with fans and enhances their experience.
  • Develop, shoot, edit, and produce video content for various formats, including television, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
  • Communicate with fans through email and texting, creating e-newsletters and text blasts for promotions, merchandise, game days, and events.
  • Design marketing materials, such as social graphics, mailers, flyers, tickets, and billboards.
  • Stay updated on competitive trends in the sports, entertainment, and event industry.
  • Build and maximize brand awareness through various media elements and strategies.
  • Maintain media relationships and contracts.
  • Oversee the team’s NWL broadcast during home games on ESPN+ and NWL Network.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets.
  • Write press releases, media advisories, and pitch potential story ideas to local media.
  • Manage a team of seasonal media interns.
  • Represent the team at networking events and participate in community events as needed.
  • Execute game day responsibilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Work during home games and ballpark events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
  • Experience with Google Analytics is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with WordPress or other web-based applications is preferred but not required.
  • Strong marketing and content strategy development skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
