As a Content Marketing Specialist, you will be at the forefront of this new vision by developing breakthrough brand & customer communications and strategic creative content that build awareness, foster loyalty, drive conversion, and expand our brand footprint. The content you create will help customers understand more about the benefits and process to go solar, Sunrun’s product offerings, and answer key questions they have along the customer journey. You will work closely across the marketing organization to plan, write, design and deploy assets to our customers.

This position is in-person at our Lehi, Utah headquarters. Some travel will be required for internal meetings and production initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Improve the overall customer experience through enhanced content delivered at key points along the customer journey
  • Create engaging and high-quality content to deploy through the Marketing Automation team
  • Monitor KPIs to track and measure the success of content marketing efforts
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure smooth content delivery
  • Support and elevate overarching content strategy for the brand
  • Collaborate with channel and CX leaders to develop content strategy and asset needs across organic and paid social, email, website, brand communications, product, and more
  • Leverage consumer insights to shape content strategy and messaging
  • Support development and deployment of brand campaigns, calendar, and content
  • Lead content development in collaboration with creative teams across design, video, and UX
  • Coordinate Spanish-language marketing partners and campaigns (ability to speak Spanish is not required)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Creative intuition to lead and develop content & ideas that spark engagement
  • Executional excellence in developing breakthrough consumer messaging
  • Excellent copywriting skills with ability to tailor approach to specific platforms and audiences
  • Experience in consumer communications across multiple brands & industries
  • Track record of distilling complex dynamics into simple brand communications
  • Ability to drive effective project management across multiple initiatives
  • Bias for action, speed, and agility
  • Entrepreneurial drive, used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Passion for learning and development to evolve and acquire new skills
  • Excellent presentation and influence skills with senior management
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional role
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-20% of the time
  • Nice to have:
    • Graphic design and/or video editing skills (e.g., Figma, Adobe Illustrator)
    • Hands-on experience working in website content management systems
    • Experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
