As the Content Marketing Strategist at BOWA, your main focus is to effectively communicate “The BOWA Story” to enhance company visibility and support our sales team. You will utilize our impressive projects, unique business attributes, and our team of skilled remodeling experts as the foundation for the content you create and share.

Through various communication channels, both online and offline, including social media, blog posts, photos/videos, internal newsletters, and more, you will engage our audience. Projects will be a significant source of content, and you will be responsible for promoting BOWA’s projects throughout their lifecycle, from pre-construction to post-construction, through various means such as mailings, branding, photography, profiles, competitions, and beyond.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will independently execute defined initiatives while also providing recommendations for new tools and improvements. Additionally, you may assist with other departmental tasks when needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Marketing & Promotion:

    • Develop and execute a quarterly content plan, setting and achieving goals for web and social media content and engagement.
    • Create content highlighting BOWA’s projects, processes, differentiators, industry trends, home maintenance, and related subjects.
    • Adapt and optimize content for different channels, with a focus on social media and SEO best practices.
    • Manage BOWA’s social media presence and support team members in their individual social media/content strategies.
    • Coordinate marketing programs and mailings according to project timelines.
  2. Content Development:

    • Visit project sites to gather project details, photography, video testimonials, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
    • Customize and enhance content, adjusting format and message per channel.
  3. Design (Basic):

    • Utilize design skills for basic graphic tasks, photo editing, and layout using tools like Canva and Adobe Suite.
  4. Employee Marketing:

    • Administer various employee-related programs, such as promotional items, headshots, and business cards.
  5. Digital Marketing:

    • Play a growing role in managing BOWA’s digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred, with at least 3 years of professional marketing experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with creative thinking.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Some experience managing social media campaigns and optimizing content for SEO (preferred).
  • Basic design skills, including graphics, photo editing, and layout. Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Suite.
  • A team player capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional representation of BOWA with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Open to coaching, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Consistently meets deadlines and takes ownership of responsibilities.
  • Willingness to follow documented processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), photo, and basic video editing.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Bonus skills include WordPress knowledge and CRM experience.
