Edelman is looking for a fashion-loving ACD team (have a partner, bring them along) for one of our retail clients. The perfect Copy Lead should bean always-on-trend creative who excels in taking an idea from concept to execution.

You’ll harness the power of IRL interactions and smart, on-brand copy to make our client’s brand shine. From purpose-focused multi-day events to intimate influencer dinners, social-first activations, and content, you’ll lead the copy tone and voice and partner with various teams to pull off each event.

To land this gig, you need to have a passion for fashion (time to realize your dream of writing for Vanity Fair), and be in the know on the latest trends across beauty, events, and all things social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with an Associate Creative Director, Art Director, and at the direction of creative leadership to concept and plan execution of integrated campaigns and programs across a wide range of media and platforms, especially social, digital, video, experiences, and content
  • Create and design campaign ideas for client projects and new business pitches that are earned-first and social by design
  • Work in concert with a wide range of specialties including account, strategy, project management, and influencer
  • Develop tactics that bring creative concepts to life and achieve program objectives
  • Manage multiple jobs simultaneously; managing and providing direction to other team members as needed
  • Work closely with a project manager and production partners to schedule projects and coordinate production
  • Prepare and present client creative presentations; Drive client approval process
  • Work effectively with external vendors and internal colleagues to complete projects within the timeframe and budget

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or social media, with significant emphasis on interactive media
  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English or related major
  • The candidate must have experience in copywriting and writing direction in a supporting, individual, and team capacity, in all mediums.
  • Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail and handling them with a team-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience maintaining client contact as needed and assisting with budget and schedule development
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in influencer and or community management a plus

Salary: $86,000 – $133,000 a year
