WBCP, Inc. is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our expanding marketing team. We specialize in Executive Recruiting and Human Resources consultancy services, catering to public sector, niche private companies, and non-profit organizations. With a focus on recruiting, our firm operates across Oregon, California, Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, New York, Washington, and Washington D.C.

OUR HEADQUARTERS

Although this position is remote, our Copywriter may participate in retreats and special events at our headquarters in Rogue River, Oregon. Our headquarters boast a newly renovated 7,000-sq-ft. office space, housed in a historic 100-year-old brick building, offering modern amenities and a nod to its rich history.

THE ROLE

The Copywriter will primarily craft Job Brochures for our clients, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a penchant for technical writing. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, responsibilities also include assisting in proposal writing, staff bios updates, and crafting language for various materials. Flexibility is key in this role, as tasks may vary daily to meet client needs.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Document Review: Extract crucial details from client documents for brochure creation.
  • Note Taking: Capture important information from client calls.
  • Technical Writing: Adhere to WBCP’s brochure format while enticing candidates to apply.
  • Project Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Communication: Provide clear updates and seek assistance when needed.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, and Canva.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We seek a talented and creative Copywriter with proven experience in crafting engaging content, ideally within technical or public sector domains. Attention to detail, strong proofreading abilities, and excellent command of English are paramount. The ability to work independently or collaboratively, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines is essential.

SCHEDULE & EXPECTATIONS

The Copywriter must be available for Client Kickoff Meetings, typically between 8am and 5pm Pacific Time. Brochures are expected to be completed within 48 hours after attending a Kickoff Meeting.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Copywriter or Content Writer with a strong portfolio.
  • Background Check: Satisfactory background investigation required due to sensitive client information.

Desired:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Public Sector Experience: Prior experience in, or understanding of, Public Sector and government agencies.
  • Project Management Background: Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
