This position is for a Copywriter and Content Creator for a company that specializes in producing engaging and clear content for various advertising channels, including websites, blogs, digital ad copy, and marketing collateral for multiple clients across diverse industries.

The Copywriter will play a crucial role in developing and delivering compelling content that aligns with each client’s brand message and online presence.


  • Write clear and error-free content for websites that reflects the company’s voice.
  • Assist the marketing team in creating persuasive ad and landing page copy.
  • Develop keyword-friendly blog posts for various industries.
  • Conduct conference calls with clients to gather information about their business, vision, brand voice, target audience, products, and services.
  • Research ideas, information, keywords, and facts relevant to clients.
  • Create engaging website content that captures users’ attention.
  • Proofread work for accuracy and quality.
  • Optimize website content for search engines, mobile devices, readability, and user engagement.
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team and occasionally to clients.
  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback.
  • Create social media calendars, content, posts, and imagery.
  • Suggest and implement topics and features to enhance brand awareness, including promotions and competitions.
  • Proofread client-provided content for errors and additions.
  • Organize and communicate with the team regarding feedback, next steps, meeting dates, notes, and project status.

Job Requirements, Skills, Abilities, Education:

  • Interpret creative briefs and develop creative concepts from development to final product.
  • Write fresh and engaging copy that resonates with the target audience.
  • Vary voice, style, and characteristics based on industry, company, or target audience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
  • Ability to identify client growth opportunities and communicate efficiently to the business development team.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail, including proofreading for accuracy and quality.
  • Self-motivation and ability to prioritize, manage time, multitask, and work independently.
  • Ability to respond positively to constructive criticism and implement changes.
  • Utilize the correct tools, resources, and team members to find answers to client questions.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Business, English, Communication, Creative Writing, or related field preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience in copywriting for websites, social media management, digital ad copy, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven success in producing copy for marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in copywriting for multiple industries.
  • Basic knowledge/experience with copywriting and ad copy.
  • Familiarity with creating marketing content (graphics and copy).
  • Proficiency in CRM (Insightly), GSuite, Slack, WordPress, 1Password & Dropbox.
  • Basic knowledge/experience with Canva (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge/experience with Photoshop (preferred).

What We Offer The Right Candidate:

  • Contract position with an hourly wage of $25 – $35/hour DOE.
  • Part-time position with 15-30 hours per week, depending on the skillset.
  • Ability to work from home.
  • Flexible work hours, as long as deadlines are met.
  • Standard working hours from Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm MST.
