The Role

As a Content Writer for our Product Marketing team, you’ll help create the content and craft narrative for our portfolio of products at Marigold. Utilizing close collaboration with product, strategy, and marketing teams, you’ll highlight innovations and trends to help prospects and customers unlock value through increased product adoption and utilization. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, excellent storyteller, has experience in product or product marketing, and is passionate about selling our solution through dynamic content.

What You’ll Do

  • Create key product content for our prospects and customer base, through product-driven storytelling and solution-fueled narrative.
  • Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, marketers, and customer-facing teams to develop content ideas, shape thought leadership and collateral, and drive customer engagement with our materials.
  • Brainstorm fresh content through research and competitive analysis, in partnership with our product marketing team.
  • Develop content, including blogs, listicles, guides, and use cases to ensure prospects and customers see a clear and meaningful connection between our products and their strategic and business goals.
  • Build thoughtful use case scenarios to connect customers and prospects to new and innovative uses of our product features.
  • Support internal content events, including roadmap and customer webinars and virtual events, including building events, creating and improving content, connecting with customers, and managing follow-up.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to amplify messaging and identify areas for collaboration and cross-promotion.
  • Review existing content, serving as an editor, copywriter, and writer as needed to make new and refreshed content shine.
  • Evangelize the products through written, designed, and present content.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years work experience, preferably in product, marketing, or product marketing experience, and ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  • Understanding of, or desire to quickly learn, digital marketing, our industry, and the conversations we address daily with our prospects and customers.
  • Passionate about data-driven decision-making, from the success of campaigns to the utilization of content to the engagement on product release messaging.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain cross-functional relationships.
